I know my medium. I’d say my painting skills are strong and I’m pretty good at nailing down a vibe/atmosphere. I also really like when art has a tactile quality so I always try to give that to my work.
Artists, I think we're all too comfortable sharing our imposter syndrome.

It's incredibly rare to see such a broad spectrum of the industry speak out against a particular move. This is one of those times....NO ONE in the comics creative community likes this policy.

my new year task for you is that if you have an empty sketchbook i want you to fill it up, and don't fret about how good or bad it looks. if you're nervous, do what i do & remind yourself no one has to see it. you're going to fuck up a lot but it's a part of the process, so have courage & keep going
