This is a very interesting intervention in the Greens. Polanski is a strong communicator.

Personally I think it would make sense for the Greens to have one leader rather than two - the co-leadership model equates to less than the sum of its parts at the moment

Starmer faces Labour revolt over plan to raid bank accounts of benefit claimants.

This revived Tory Bill must be defeated, assumes that everyone on benefits is a criminal and doesn't deserve any financial privacy.

The plan wasn't in the manifesto. There is no impact assessment.

Could all supermarkets and shops in the UK please do this and also indicate the country a product is manufactured in.

People should be given the choice to boycott countries based on cost and values of their businesses and governments.

@MartinSLewis is right to mention that energy bills are going up but he doesn't mention the root cause - that we allow the global price of fossil gas to set the price of the energy we make from the wind and sun. If we ‘break the link’ we can lower energy bills.

It's great TV watching these CNBC analysts realize there is no "theory" on TV in real time and they can't even invent one. One just said "They're burning down the house to cook a steak." There's a phone ringing off the hook in the background no one's picking up. It's chaos, I recommend it.

The same thing happened with the winter fuel payment cut.

Will the alleged savings materialise? The impact on the NHS, GPs, families, people?

Lack of impact assessment is a good reason to vote against the cuts.
