We deserve a politics of care.

Bloody hell Liz. I am shocked but not surprised. And yeah, I hate that we basically have to become experts on our own health and try to figure out the exact dialogue options to unlock the care we need. Docs should be a help, not an obstacle!

Palantir software is now the basis of the Government's fraud reporting service. So it now handles sensitive financial data for millions of UK citizens. Plus NHS data. Plus military analytics. Plus policing.

And, of course, it's quite explicitly far right in its politics.

What could ever go wrong?

I know, right? You must see even more than me. It's going to fuck the global economy, we can all see it coming, and noone with any power seems to be in any way concerned. Maybe they're all just rich enough they don't think they'll get hurt

Yes. Obviously. As a stepping stone to making it free for everyone. Just think how much better off we'd all be, financially, socially, and environmentally, if all local transit (bus, tram, local trains) were free?

I've just devoured this in two days. Holy fuck. It really reminds me of all the stuff @edzitron.com is saying about 'AI', and how little thought appears to be being taken over the consequences of these technologies we have so little choice about using

Very nice 🥰

Aaaaaaa you look so soft and cozy!

Just so we are all aware: yes, being politically active is a risk. Yes it will affect your career- it has affected mine. Yes it will put you in danger- I receive death threats regularly. But revolution for better or worse requires risk. Otherwise your writing stands for very little.

Entirely typical of the BBC's treatment of trans people that it presents Michael Foran, who is literally on the advisory Board of the Sex Matters hate group, as an independent expert.

Yes, this is my overwhelming impression listening to it. He repeatedly demanded full ownership of Greenland, and made an explicit threat to punish the Europeans if they don't give in. He then threatened to punish Canada over its prime minister's speech!
If you're only reading headlines and see "Trump Says He Won't Use Force" it will give you a misimpression of both how bellicose this speech is and how dug in he is on Greenland.
Trump on NATO: "We never ask for anything, and we never got anything. We probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be frankly unstoppable. But I won't do that. Okay?"

Labour are low in the polls and hard on the country.

Fair play to whichever special advisor has written Keir a bit of a snarky line. Maybe Keir could take that energy to Trump on the warpath or the billionaire bosses ruining this country?

Distressing that Canada, which has the most to lose from this change, is ready to face reality, whilst Starmer bets on Churchillian nostalgia for the 'special relationship' and actively rejects meaningfully closer economic engagement with the EU, which must be where our future lies.

A bit of discussion about this detached bogie being a cause rather than an outcome of the Adamuz crash. It's essentially impossible for a bogie to be released from a moving train without that train already having been derailed.

"WE WILL NEVER BE SILENCED" anti-trans campaigners shout, while appearing on the front page of every single newspaper and interviewed on all major news platforms in the country repeatedly for the past 10 years. Pretty sure you have the wrong definition of 'silenced', but okay.

Hoarding is a mental illness. Either get help, or destroy the planet for every living being. Every problem we have is due to wealth inequality. We outnumber them.

Also, they're all different shades of pink, blue, and purple, because I love a low key trans flag mani 🏳️‍⚧️

Three other day I did my nails. Properly. Like, I put so much time into shaping them. Making sure I had no bubbles in the builder gel. All the nail prep. And they were good?

Today, I added glitter on top.

And they're perfect.

It makes me laugh how much joy I get from sparkles!

So it's just bad luck that the second train was passing at that time?
