Critically Endangered Swift Parrot is one of just three migratory parrots on earth. Removal of their habitat has left possibly 500 in the wild.

The farms are beyond struggling.

I'm hearing from family, they've been trucking in water since December. They're on their last bit of feed. They'll have to sell their livestock by next month.

Happy birthday to Zofia Keilan-Jaworowska (1925-2015) a Polish #paleobiologist famous for a series of Polish-Mongolian expeditions she lead from 1963-1971 to the Gobi desert! 🐡🧪👩🏼‍🔬 #histsci There she discovered dinosaurs including the Deinocheirus, plus she & team found the “Fighting Dinosaurs” fossil

This is really important. Do NOT use the AI summaries at the top of google searches. Ignore them. This is especially important if you don't have any prior knowledge about the topic, but also a good general rule.

Search sources, scrutinize them carefully and double-check with other sources.

Google’s AI Overviews will not only confirm that a gibberish idiom is a real saying, it will also tell you what it means and how it was derived -- often including reference links.

Yesterday I saw an artist who uses teeny miniature figurines & photographs them in/on vegetables etc. And at that scale the ‘landscape’ looks huge.

This provoked a heap of ideas of how I could use this concept to both depict #pwME, and be a visual escape especially for bed and house bound people.
