Finished one of my 2025 projects just under the wire. We’re making an effort to use more rechargeable batteries in place of single-use AA and AAA, but it’s not always convenient to immediately throw used ones in a charger. So we now have organized battery piles.

This is currently trials in mice that had to be genetically engineered to get Alzheimer’s in the first place, but this is promising research that could change a lot of people’s lives. My maternal grandmother died from AD complications and my father is potentially heading down the AD path, so 🤞🏻.

It probably helps that I already had 4 years of high school German, a semester of college German, and am an organist, so I encounter German professionally often enough, but I am kinda proud of this.

This is too true. Mary and Joseph, being of middle-eastern descent, would definitely be detained and deported by ICE. And probably deported to Columbia or somewhere else they have no ties.
