Hi good morning, my roommate is the sole caretaker for her disabled mom & her car needs 4 figures of work. The commute to Mom is an hour each way without, not counting helping with errands and appointments once she’s there. It sucks shit. Any help is much appreciated and we’re halfway there!

Continuing to make art and find joy IS resistance, but it's not the "strongest" protest, and it can't be all one does.
As someone who grapples daily with balancing both- we can't afford to stop at self care. This is an all-hands on deck effort. We work in shifts, but taking a shift is not optional

I submit in times like these that one of the strongest protests is to continue to make and share art. The simple act of creation and appreciation in the face of rampant stupidity is a glorious act of rebellion and an affirmation that they can’t stop your joy.
