You don't fight the evil of MAGA world by gloating over the harm suffered in disasters by people in "red states".
Only light can drive out darkness. Only love can drive out fear and hate.
Damn straight. I'm not getting fooled into affording things ever again!

QT sucks so bad it's not even funny
I will never understand why an actual movie director chooses to spend his time and energy behaving like a fifth-tier shitposter. (Also, this is a Hall of Fame bad take.)

I am not a perfect man. Not even a very good man.
But I have found it surprisingly easy to avoid murdering people, or even justifying murder. It's such a low bar to clear, and yet

OK so it's dark and rainy and I feel like this story should be shared. The movie Grace Of My Heart is a sort of 'film á clef' loosely based on Carole King's life, interpolating a fictional romance with a character based on Brian Wilson. Musical director J Mascis said they HAD TO use a theremin...
Allison also told an absolutely fucking great Beach Boys anecdote (from Grace Of My Heart soundtrack recording sessions) which would on its own make this one of the great Q&As

Obviously a sequel to Master and Commander
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Just watched THE MISSOURI BREAKS and though I've seen many eccentric Brando performances, nothing really could've prepared me for this

I may have just gone a little overboard in the graphic novel section of the library.
Mostly crime/noir/spy stuff but also biographies of Audubon and Arvo Pärt(!!).

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
