More and more I think of LLMs as a very interesting form of lossy compression, so the propensity to hallucinate, or the need to build bigger models, doesn't seem surprising. Intelligent it is not.

All solvable problems, of course, just a simple matter of engineering. Bigger question is who is paying for this and why? I suspect that unless the US government isn't shoveling money into it, SpaceX is bankrupt pretty fast.
They have yet to get one to orbit, never mind the number required to refuel one in orbit, never mind showing they can refuel one in orbit, never mind getting one to Mars, never mind actually landing one on Mars, etc. The addition of Optimus makes it *more* complicated, not less... sigh.
