A sloping field of grass, filling almost all the picture. With the sun just below the horizon, the palette tends towards the darker greens. The blades are substantial, strong, swirling and eddying in the breeze. On lying down the crop was suddenly tall, senses shifting as the world became your body, the cooling grass beneath and around you, occasional passing insects, the darkening sky holding stars flickering on, the wind bringing distant bird song, and whatever was in your head. A different place, for a while.
