Had a very nice day with D's family today eating some good food and having some laughs. Now back at home, bundled up in cozy jammies and socks and my hoodie and just relaxing in the recliner with my laptop and some honey vanilla chamomile tea.

Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.
Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

A true side note: Prince cared deeply about food insecurity, and would routinely make substantial donations to local food banks and community kitchens in every town that he would play in during his later tours. Sometimes they would ask for supplies & his team would show up with huge amounts of food.
