My colleagues and I just went through a 45-day government shutdown. I didn't see any single, solitary person decide to stop or even slow spending during that time. Muhfukkas couldn't even avoid spending between Black Friday and Cyber Monday last year.

And one more thing. Students. If you have a professor who is, for some reason, outsourcing their own job to ChatGPT....drop the class.
