The biggest reason I can't take this opinion seriously is because I can guarantee that Mr. Nichols has not written about the dehumanizing language toward trans people all year by Republican politicians. To me, that is far more profane than VP Harris or Mr. Schumer uttering the word "fuck" publicly.

hospitalized as a “custody” of ICE. Petitioner remains in the custody of ICE at

patient room at all times and controlling and limiting access to Petitioner by
medical personnel, attorneys, and family members.

One thing that took almost a year was a battle in the courts for testimony from nearly a dozen key witnesses that claimed executive privilege. Then there was a 4 month delay in getting stuff from the J6 Committee. Then Twitter threw up roadblocks over subpoenas for Trump's account info. END/

Fun Fact: I once worked on a high profile prosecution in EDVA with Pat Fitzgerald and his team of AUSAs, all of whom were from outside the district. Let's just say that these Virginia judges do not take kindly to outside agitators, even those from the Department of Justice.

Back in federal judge Sara Ellis' courtroom in Chicago for a second day of discussion on a proposed restraining order to rein in federal immigration agents' violent behavior.

Debate began on this issue on Monday, and ended without the court entering a formal order.

Well, yeah, we're suing ICE.

This wasn't really a hard decision. As little faith as we have in institutions, we recognize the value of drawing visible lines in the sand. We drew ours personally a while ago, but better late than never.

May every protester be freed and may this occupation end.
