The experience of being queer & trans in the US has changed dramatically since 2022 when I started working on the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE anthology. I finished the introduction on January 8th, 2025, knowing that the country I live in would almost definitely be changed for the worse by pub date.

Buttondown is now very loudly advertising on their landing page that they will do the newsletter migration for you if you want off the Nazi site.

They did mine, and it was painless. The only pain point I've had is how Substack handled paid subscriptions–Buttondown fixed their mess.
