So democrats that will not be running for their seats voted to open the government. What do they stand to lose? Nothing as they will be leaving their seats. So screw the American people and their healthcare accessibility. We must do better at picking who represents us in Congress.

We have to ask ourselves how are we going to correct all this mess. We need to move on from the two political systems this country has. No one from either side is stepping up to the plate. All they are doing is seeing our country decline and not caring.

The "No Kings" protest was huge and amazing. The world so that no matter the political party, no one in America wants a dictator. What we need now is the next step. What actions are those that we send to Washington going to do?! We need them to step up and do the job we need them to do!

I watched the CNN town hall of Bernie Sanders and AOC last night. I hope that those who watched it took a lot of information on what Trump and the Republicans are doing during the shutdown. This town hall was for both sides to take in information on what is being done and what we stand to lose.
