Truth. All we can do is try to be better than we were yesterday.
Some got better, yes. Some didn't, or are still working through it, or only got better when loved ones said they were actively being hated and hurt.
I talk about my own journey because I wasn't perfect at it, and I did/said/was things that hurt people. I'm still learning and trying to be better.

I really wish people talked more about the fact that our generation had to overcome so much bigotry and hatred learned when we were young.
