I took my father, whose affection for westerns went back to his childhood hero Tom Mix, to a first run showing of Silverado... and he loved it. And he was a tough audience.

I like it a lot. There’s a lot of love for the genre on show throughout. Nice to hear Kevin Costner referred to as the kid, in it too.
