In-cell architecture of the mitochondrial respiratory chain
Mitochondria regenerate adenosine triphosphate (ATP) through oxidative phosphorylation. This process is carried out by five membrane-bound complexes collectively known as the respiratory chain, workin...

I am begging the national media to start taking this seriously.

Stop buying the claims that the framing of "temporary" or "pause."

They are altering the review processes of federally funded scientific research from merit-based peer review processes to political screening by ideologues.
NEW — OMB temporarily pauses all agency grants and loans programs.

Per copy of memo: "The use of Federal resources to advance Marxist equity, transgenderism, and green new deal social engineering policies is a waste of taxpayer dollars that does not improve the day-to-day lives of those we serve."

Has anyone considered that birth rate decline is simply a complex system correcting itself? The planet can only support so many people. If declining birthrates continue at current rates we'll max out at about 18 billion in 2080 and then enter steady population decline. I don't see this as a problem.

Large parts of our genome are duplicated DNA, and variation in these parts of the genome was very hard to study until long-read sequencing. New work on these segmental duplications is adding a new dimension to human genetic diversity.
