I skimmed this list a few days ago but I didn't see that the word "female" was included. This will make it even harder to get funding for research into women's health issues. And "barrier"? What if someone wanted to study a drug crossing the blood-brain barrier? This is crazy.
National Science Foundation grants will not be awarded to research that includes terms on this list - No funding for the study of ovarian cancer? Or sickle cell anemia in the Black population? Women & minorities were rarely included in medical research until 93 & now we’re going back? 1/2

Something that annoys me more than it should: when someone sends a company-wide email wishing everyone a happy holiday and then everyone replies all. I do not need 50 Happy Thanksgiving emails, thank you very much.

I think I know what happened to our timeline. Back when was like 10 years old, I said I wanted to live through something historic. I meant something like the moon landing, something cool. A couple of years later, the Berlin Wall fell and I thought that was my big historic event. (1/2)
