I like making creatures
Iʻm inspired by nature and lots of horror movies.
While I love rendering my creatures, I love 3D printing them to sit on my shelf and stare at me as I read
I sculpt in #zbrush and render in Marmoset. I finish up by drawing over and adding atmosphere in #procreate

Noodling around in zbrush for Sculptober: Nobel

The main point of reference was the Mahiole that Hawaiian Aliʻi would wear to show nobility. Hawaiian ones are made of feathers, but my sculpt was just inspired by the beautiful shape of it.

I learned from a conservationist that all the babies will come off the back and swarm the dead insects that the mother catches for them. So beautiful and scary at the same time.

Pen drawing that is mostly black and white focused on a humanoid figure with many different organic growths coming out of their back that contain eyes, while the upper part of their face is covered by a solid plate that has the skin of the lower part of the face connected to it by rivets. The rest of their body is covered by strange techno-organic growths and in the background is another figure reclining and holding their hands above their head into the arched walls that frame the scene. The surrounding area makes an oval portal like shape that filled with a yellowish hue and a number of orange ringed elongated eye like shapes with white centers with black filaments.

🐍 Drop some SNAKES 🐍

A vagrant shows his middle finger to the viewer. This vaguely eastern man wears a heavy coat with fur lining, a pair of jeans held by a rope belt, and a t-shirt with "the grass is greener on the other side" written on it. He has long, unkempt black hair, and the only colored parts of his body are his green eyes and the word "greener" on his shirt.
Behind him, a snake a two fishes are floating around, drawn in green pen, and a halo of green flames surrounds his head. The snake floats around the halo and is biting its own tail; one of the fishes is barbed and mostly swimming behind the man.

A hybrid creature moves around with open arms. The creature is androgynous, appears to be akin to an elf in its upper body and a long, giant snake in the lower. Symbols and runes are carved on the belly of the creature. A long strip of clothing surrounds and covers suggestively some parts of the creature, while a black python snake rests on its arms. A black background is interrupted by a white silhouette of a slithering snake.

A lightly-dressed middle-eastern man carrying a flask of wine raises a big, decorative arabic lantern, from which erupts fire, summoning a big, burly genie. The genie stands over the man, his muscular, hairy arms folded, has big tusks, nubby horns, a short beard, and scaled claws for hands. The spirit also has a long, scaled tail that ends in a masive snake.
