Reminder that this particular style of frames is worn by a lot of low-income, disabled, and neurodivergent folk. Unless someone is bragging about their Mets glasses, it’s unlikely you can be 100% certain someone is actually wearing them.
This generation of AI-assisted AR glasses were created to blend in with everyday glasses. The thick plastic frames that are the cheapest frames people can buy have the footprint to hide the tech, so they were a prime choice. But people make assumptions and those can hurt the disabled and vulnerable.
