I took a break from movie posts as I ran dry of exceptional, unique and obscure films I was truly excited to recommend to the beautiful community of BlueSky. Rather than daily posts, I’ll now be infrequently sharing new discoveries and reposting old favorites.

Don’t see “Aniara” talked about enough in circles of folks who like cosmic horror.
It’s NOT horror in most ways—but I’ve never seen a movie that handles like… cosmic nihilism better? It’s the scale of everything that a lot of content doesn’t even approach for fear of being too bleak. I love it lol
