This flower is called a Poinsettia in English. September is the best time to discuss the name's connection to colonialism and why I would never call this plant a poinsettia.

I have little respect for El Chavo del Ocho. That SNL got El Chavo del Ocho wrong is just beyond me. And on top of that, I feel the need to defend it!

But then I remember it's a concept created so that the audience will be dormant as the fascist regimes in LatAm opressed us and then I let go

I actually think we really do need to draw a line in the sand here because if you feel so compelled to eulogise and mourn someone who was literally a white supremacist and fascist by all definitions of those words, maybe we should just consider you a white suprematicist and fascist too.
