Trump is wasting huge amounts of taxpayer money based on his whims. The man is a prolific spender. An extra $100B per year on defense; $127B on ICE and deportations. Insane money, being spent to send tax-paying workers out of 🇺🇸, leaving their families in dire straits.
In case you have lost perspective, the map shows the city of LA and the red circle the protests. For this Trump has federalized 4000 national guard and 600 Marines and spent $134 million.

It really makes it look as though this entire meeting was a setup by Trump that was planned in advance.

Utterly disgraceful. Trump and Vance disgraced 🇺🇸 today, and every time they refuse to utterly condemn Vladimir Putin and the war crimes Russia is committing.
I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

Call your Senators, Representatives, and the White House. Then write them letters. Then emails. The White House only takes comment calls between 11-3:00, Tuesday-Thursday. That’s right, The White House wants to hear from 200 million registered voters during only 12 hours a week… comment on THAT too.

Trump asked for $500 billion from Ukraine. The US economy is about 142X the size of Ukraine’s economy. For 🇺🇦 to pay 🇺🇸 $500 billion is equivalent to 🇺🇸 paying $77 quadrillion! It’s a ridiculous ask, especially since $500B is about 5X what 🇺🇸 has spent on 🇺🇦, and 83-87% of that money was spent in 🇺🇸.
