It always boggles my mind that I, a journalist, am expressly forbidden from trading stocks, but members of Congress, with vastly greater knowledge of market-moving news, are allowed to profit by front-running markets, and so may profit by in essence stealing from the public they represent.

Can we get to the point where we stop saying that celebrities saying transphobic and racist statements are part of a publicity stunt? Maybe they are just prejudice people who are enabling that type of mentality (ex. Chappelle, Kanye).

I always thought the hey Arnold bedroom was really cool until you think about how how hot that room had to get in the summer. The greenhouse effect had to be terrible.
