When I sat on Mayor de Blasio’s School Diversity Advisory Group (SDAG), we made a similar but more expansive call to transform this broken system. I am glad to see Zohran move in this direction and hope he and his team will leverage the important work already done to reimagine a better system.

3 weeks into the doctoral journey and already got a defensive email from a professor when asking for clarification on an assignment and respectfully letting them know some critical information was missing. Went back and forth about how to respond and decided just to say “thanks.” 🫠

I’m honored to have played a role in this work and hopeful @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is our next mayor to see this agenda through.
