I'm wondering if The Great Dictator will allow midterm elections. Certainly he won't watch them usurp his power.

I fear we are approaching an endgame THIS year, not in 2028/29. American democracy either takes a stand by November, or it's gone.

This is real, folks. There's no outwaiting his term.

My iPhone took a crisp Moon photo this morning. These 4 brave explorers - Jeremy, Vic, Reid & Christina - launch there exactly 1 month from today, piloting that Orion capsule. 1st time any crew has flown that it, and 1st time we've been to the Moon since 1972. I'll be watching and cheering them on!

I'm thinking McDavid's head is in Italy tonight. Some terrific plays but also some that make you scratch your head going "whaaa...?" Even on the PP.

This is who the premier has to answer to. They don’t want solutions, they just want someone to blame for their own lot in life.

And if it’s not the feds… well maybe they can’t control outcomes and omg personal responsibility and socialism? Jeevus cripes.

Watching the Oilers. What is Bouchard doing? Ekjolm had his man. Bouch goes into no man's land to do... what? Totally misses his man. They score. This is not worth $10 mil. Especially as he's not making up for his mistakes.

Markham and Prof. Foster provide a very clear understanding of where the teachers strike could go.

I support the teachers in this. The UCP have shown time and again they have very little respect for and even less understanding of public education.
What if Alberta Teachers Defy Back-to-Work Legislation?

Prof Jason Foster, @AthabascaU, explains in clear, easy to understand language.

Next week could be an epic showdown between Danielle Smith and Alberta teachers.

How is it Calgary has tens of thousands of votes counted already and Edmonton has only a few thousands so far?

RIP Ken Dryden. You were one of my very first hockey heroes. And you remained a hero when you entered politics years later.

One of the things that I said about the obsession with pandemic learning loss is that the kids are always learning. Many of us are too afraid to ask what it is they are learning. This is a pretty good summary of some of the lessons.
