Two months ago, Democrats in the Surrender Caucus gave up their leverage in the shutdown fight because Republicans were refusing to extend the ACA tax credits. Since then, bipartisan majorities in both the Senate and the House have voted to advance a clean three-year extension.
Just left the House floor after we passed my bill to extend the health care tax credits for three more years!!

So while this is an improvement, the 2nd point is kind of impossible because the LLM and GenAI models around right now are built on mountains of stolen data, so the follow up to this story in a year is either that they gave up on using their own data or it didn't work at all so they quit.
