I have never told someone “I’m North American” why exactly do ppl need to view the continent as an identifier when that means & says very little? Continents are extremely diverse. What happened to nationality? Ethnicity?

I’m truly so annoyed at this stupid discourse. Literally shut the fuck up about African Americans. I’m tired of ppl speaking as if we don’t have a real culture, we are not a nationality. This is beyond disrespectful and I’ve been on Zohrans train but he was wrong for that.
