The House reconciliation bill appropriates money for reducing cost-sharing in ACA plans. But, only for plans that don't cover abortion. That will set up a clash in a dozen states that require abortion coverage, and undermine abortion access to low-income people.

There are many good reasons to shift control over U.S. marshals to the judiciary. A big one: There’s no way Trump’s DOJ will also marshals to enforce contempt orders against administration officials, so the threat of criminal contempt is largely empty. RFK Jr. mentioned in the CNN interview that they plan to “replicate” all of the vaccine studies by March 2026. This is impossible. And they’ve hired a fraud to do the analysis.

There was also a vague statement that groups of scientists would to “bid” for the work. This is not how funding works.
