Chatted to my great uncle yesterday – a northern, working-class guy, not that political. I told him my job involved exposing Farage.

His first question was: “who funds him?”

Investigations into Farage’s donors can have a major impact on Reform’s support – as this research has already shown 👇
New research reveals the best attack lines to use against Reform
How to stop Farage...

Letter to the FT that stingingly sums up Brexit and the shit creek we now find ourselves in.
A terrible idea (naive, prejudiced and uninformed) that has deeply divided us and left us poorer and less secure… but unwilling to face up to the damage we’ve done to ourselves. While the EU moves on.

“We have sacrificed our national success because of our fear of immigration. And now, if Farage has his way, we'll do it all over again”

Superb, important analysis of the profound harm Farage does to our country in his rabidly racist and egotistical bid for power

Great to have such an enthusiastic support for rejoining Erasmus from the Vice Chancellor of Oxford University on #t4today
No stupid questions about whether this was anti-Brexit.
Just unequivocal celebration of the chance to broaden our horizons again. A step on the road back to sanity.

If millionaires had paid
their proper taxes
for the last 50 years
there could now be

No poverty, homelessness, unemployment
Much less crime, war, climate disasters

The problem isn’t migrants
The problem always has been
The insatiable greed of the super rich

We despair that the rightwing keep shifting the Overton Window further right. They never suggest that leaving the ECHR is impossible or not the right time. They just demand it. And we end up discussing it.
It’s time the left pushed back.
Not put up ‘can’t do’ barriers to our own hopes and aims.

🚨BREAKING🚨

MPs have voted to PASS our bill to establish a UK-EU customs union.

The Prime Minister must now listen to his own MPs, drop his self-imposed red lines and finally go for proper growth through an ambitious trade deal with the EU.

🔴 Nigel Farage’s Reform is more reliant on super-rich backers than any major party in modern British political history

75% of *all* Reform donations *ever* have come from just three rich men

Is this what democracy looks like?

Starmer accuses the Brexiters of selling Brexit on lies and false promises. He’s guilty of pretence and obfuscation now. The EU won’t trust us or even consider major changes to the current deal if British politicians continue to lie, hedge and mislead. Act like a leader, Starmer. Damnit, man. LEAD.

The super-rich rightwing are pouring money into Reform. Do ordinary voters really think their aim is to even out social inequality and make their lives better? Do they think they’re doing it so Farage invests in infrastructure and public services? Ffs. Democracy being beaten to death in plain sight.

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

And yet Reform, the right‑wing press, and all those self‑styled guardians of these values have nothing to say

…funny that.
