My concern about the ID thing is not currently the ‘how?’ - though that’s important.
It’s the ‘why?’
Why now? What is this really about? Do we really need more ammunition against immigrants when the mood music is so hideously hostile? Can’t we stand up to Reform by changing the sodding record?

But then narrow class interests represented in media, all the big parties too tied to donor agendas to offer an alternative, and of course racism go a long way.
