Flying from Grand Rapids to San Juan PR for a conference today. Everyone without exception … TSA, airlines, airport employees … are incredibly friendly and chipper. Did they all attend a new training focused on “aggressive customer service”?

Day 3! Beautiful walk. Air quality much better between Samos and Sarria than Las Herrerías and Fonfría. Breathing easier and uphill hikes less taxing. #BuenCamino!

They eventually told me to remove the corpse from my dorm room, though.

Good morning to Imagine Dragons who have cornered the 6-11 demographic for so many years. My recess yard duty playlist continues to be full of requests for their songs, including (maybe especially) this one.

Happy Wednesday.

Sooo ... I broke my foot this morning. Jumped up to swat a moth in the shower and slipped when I landed. Luckily it was only my foot. Shoulder and hip were involved too, but they seem okay. Quick trip to urgent care and now wearing a boot for six weeks. Bright side, I don’t have osteoporosis. 💪
