BREAKING: Tammy Duckworth, who has the most significant combat record of any current U.S. senator, just lashed out at Trump on Venezuela:

“Maybe Trump dodged the draft so many times he’s incapable of understanding the lessons from past conflicts built on lies.”

What a catastrophe.
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funded NPR, PBS and hundreds of local radio and TV stations across the U.S. for more than a half-century, said on Monday that its board of directors had voted to dissolve the organization because Congress cut off its federal money.

Executives debated whether to allow the corporation to lie dormant after federal funding ended last year, but decided against it.

The fact that there is no one who has instantly shut this down is one of the biggest indictments of the entire AI industry, Elon Musk, and our current government that we’ve seen yet.
When I was a girl, if someone had made an explicit image of me, I would have been scarred for life. Musk, however, mocked "the situation by sharing an array of Grok-generated images, including one depicting himself in a bikini, punctuated by laughing-crying emojis."

Jack Smith’s take on Rudy Giuliani is hilariously damning

But his deposition and the Epstein files still might be the key to why Trump is wagging the dog with Venezuela

“the idea that someone like Rudy Giuliani..he was available..and we would have welcomed president Trump calling him as a witness”

What is just crazy about this, aside from the need for this statement at all, is that Greenland already IS in the US sphere of influence. It's far cheaper for the US, in material, security, and reputational terms, to have Denmark continue administering Greenland and work within NATO on security.

So not only did Trump say he talked to the oil companies before Congress, which would be bad enough — they’re also telling us he lied about that.

After lying that it was about drugs.

No matter how you feel about Maduro, lying us into wars of choice is never justified.

MILLER: Greenland should be part of the US. By what right does Denmark assert control over Greenland? The US is the power of NATO

Five years ago today, Donald Trump urged his supporters to attack Congress and the Capitol over a proven lie. More than 140 police officers were injured.

Trump then pardoned the attackers.

He betrayed his oath and his country, and we won't ever forget it.

New — I wrote about how corporate media is immediately siding with power in the wake of Trump attacking Venezuela and capturing Maduro, and how journalists need to treat the administration as a hostile entity that’s openly lying to them.
Call Trump's power grab in Venezuela what it is
Corporate media must recognize they're being openly lied to—and report accordingly.

If the DEA had killed 80 innocent Americans in the course of apprehending one drug dealer, there would be riots. But we are so ghoulishly indifferent to the lives and humanity of people abroad that it's barely even part of the conversation.
A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

Fascism is about exerting power over others. Some power is physical coercion, but more insidious is that fascists want to force you to accept lies that contradict with what you observe with your own eyes. Thus, it’s no surprise that fascists love AI slop.
This video, viewed millions of times on TikTok, Facebook and X, claims to show Venezuelans taking to the street to thank the US for detaining Maduro.

But the video is a combination of four AI-generated clips and was first posted on TikTok by a user who frequently shares AI videos. It's not real.
