Sad but not surprised to see the 3 Medway MPs voting for the flawed welfare reforms. Our 4 @greenparty.org.uk MPs voted against an unfair and cruel bill that again targets the vulnerable. Medway MPs will no doubt make statements justifying their decisions.

The vital question is how much of the governments spending will actually result in more council homes?

In March, I pressed Daniel Zeichner directly about how farmers who were midway through their SFI cancellation had been promised six weeks’ notice if the scheme were to close, and yet had the rug pulled from under them when the scheme was cancelled with zero warning. 1/3
Farmers in my constituency and across the UK have been left high and dry by the government's shameful sudden cancellation of the Sustainable Farming Incentive.
