Trying to give Platner a pass because he got a coverup after he got pushback and say “it’s all good now, he said he was sorry” is the weakest amount of support and not how non-veterans should be holding people to account. You SHOULD make it hard to get redemption.

2) There are veterans out there at various stages of working through what they’ve done while active duty and trying to make amends in the ways they can. Speaking for myself, this shit ISN’T easy. It takes a lot of self-work and support of other people to begin to unlearn what was drilled in to you.
