This is profoundly un-American.

No—that's not right.

It's *anti*-American.

It's hatred of the United States and its founding documents and all its people and all its traditions.

The person who wrote and approved this is a weirdo who detests everything that America stands for.

ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

Calling Congress only takes two minutes.

It's important because your call is counted.

Even if you don't think your Republican congressperson cares, call them.

Even through you don't think your Democratic Rep needs to hear from you about #ICELawlessness, call & demand action.

Michael Sheen is just. An exemplary human being in so many ways
The actor Michael Sheen used all his money to start a fake debt collecting business, buy 900 people in Wales's debt, and excused it. If Musk bought ALL $194 billion in medical debt in the U.S. and excused it in the same way, he'd still be the world's riches man by hundreds of billions of dollars.

The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

It's incredible to me how the mainstream press will be incredulous and skeptical when RFK Jr and other HHS officials push they're quackery around vaccines but suddenly become credulous when they go attack trans healthcare. Anti vax and anti trans beliefs are all the same quack pseudoscience.

Release the files and let the chips fall where they may. We’re not worried about party, but there’s one main character who’s been gaslighting and trying to prevent the release. That screams a lot of things, but innocence isn’t one of them.

it is terrifying and awful that this passed the House with any Dem support at all (and once again, the continued leadership support for Cuellar is unconscionable)

call your senators and make absolutely sure this dies in the Senate, lives are on the line

trans people deserve so much better
Henry Cuellar, Don Davis, and Vicente Gonzalez joined Republicans in voting to criminalize trans health care.

The bill passed only 216 to 214.

4 Republicans voted no. If they did too, it would have failed.

"[Elon probably] knew it would be horrifying to others. But he decided that it was a better approach to shut it down, fire everybody, shut them out, and then go rebuild."

A test of whether the U.S. can recover its moral health after all this is whether we hold Elon Musk, genocidaire, accountable.
This is horrible. Trump and his crew shut down USAID, which has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, and they had no idea what they were doing or what would be the consequences. Completely immoral.

We just need ONE more to force a vote.
BREAKING: Democrats’ discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits has 215 signatures.

We only need 3 more Republicans to join us.

What are they waiting for? We can stop premium hikes and keep families insured if we act TODAY.
