I see a lot of people saying that a person charged with a crime deserves the chance to prove their innocence.

Please stop doing this because you have it backwards and this is really important.

It is ALWAYS the government's burden to prove a person guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

If the National March to Protect Trans Youth in Orlando inspired one or two young people to keep fighting, to keep organizing, to unite the trans, Palestinian and immigrant struggles, then in some small way it may help tip the scales toward justice in the years to come.

We hoped the march would help spark a resurgence of militant trans organizing that could help turn the tide before ... what we have now.

Of course, that didn’t happen. And it's painful to think about that day, beautiful as it was. But I'm proud we tried, of the people we met and brought together.

The “dual state” theory was invented to describe Nazis. The Supreme Court could take us there.
