The Fourth Amendment exists for a reason, and it wasn’t theoretical. Before the American Revolution, the British Crown used general warrants so police could stop, search, and seize anyone they wanted, without cause. Homes. Bodies. Papers.

Today is one of those days where grief and anger sit side by side. An innocent woman was killed in Minneapolis by ICE agents, and the lies that followed are an insult to all of us.
