Book nerd. Horror fan. MMA enthusiast. Scientist. Aspiring writer. Wish I was a hobbit.
After years of commuting through Boston’s train system I have finally done what I feared I’d always do. I was reading so intently that I missed my stop and now I have to backtrack. The book: Howl: An Anthology of Werewolves from Women-in-Horror edited by Lindy Ryan and Stephanie M. Wytovich

The more I sit with The Long Walk the more I understand the changes and the more I think I love that movie with my whole heart. Those performances were just stunning.

Encountered a man whose shirt says “assault rifle” and then proceeds to define the words but his shirt claims it is an adjective and I really just want to explain to this man that an assault rifle is a noun.

The book that changed my life, A HEAD FULL OF GHOSTS, is ten years old today. Ten??? I was once so innocent and naive, and tall. At least I’m still tall. I had the folks (mostly family and friends) sign MY book on release night. I kinda wish I kept that going.
