This. So much of the site was on board with "Let's fight censorship of pornography and age verification!" and then the moment a furry made a mod that wasn't even pornographic, suddenly the Very Serious Liberals decided that queer people were actually degenerates who needed to be purged.
feels like there was a moment where people were like "let's fight against paypros by being openly supportive of all queer and kink art" and then world war III started so everyone started looking around for a bathroom to trash or a trans person to strangle.

Tbh I didn’t hate the painter but I’m kinda annoyed with how it ended. I mean, urbanspook did a really cool break from the formula with Hell—but then The Painter felt just really messy and cheap.

Madoka magica really is an awfully tragic series. Tricked and groomed in exchange for a false promise that inevitably drives you to despair or an early death. Either coping by becoming playing the part of adult and caretaker or regressing and tying to hold onto childhood wonder
