Taken with the Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) instrument on the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope, this false colour view shows the central part of the galaxy, aka NGC 253, which is 11 million lightyears away.

I kinda love when people underestimate my 5yo, like today at the dentist he was looking at the fish tank and holding his rainbow trout stuffy and someone was like “do you think your fishy would like to swim in there?” And he was like “no, mine is a rainbow trout and those are saltwater fish.”
