Michel says Canada is still monitoring what's happening in the U.S. but it needs reliable partners who are looking to science on subjects like vaccines.

We don't need treachery, they do it to themselves and we just hold up the mirror.
The @theatlantic.com claims that Canadians will use "treachery" to make America and its media look "silly".
No, we are a democratic people who hate thugs and their pusillanimous enablers.
Deal with it.

I've now watched the censored 60 Minutes report on CECOT. If you watched it too—and if you have any decency at all—I'm sure you came to the same conclusion I did: winning elections won't be enough; people like Stephen Miller and Kristi Noem will need to be charged and imprisoned.

When someone dies of the flu and you say “what pre existing conditions did they have?”….you’re saying the chronically ill are expendable.

When you say “only the sick & elderly die of the flu”… you’re saying they’re expendable.

We are not expendable.

One more time for the ppl in the back of the room, you can't ever get shingles if you've never had chickenpox. Shingles is a reactivation of the chickenpox virus that's dormant in your body. HOWEVER, you can give chickenpox to someone who's never had it while you have shingles. Like unvaxxed babies.

A woman in Saskatchewan needs surgery for a parathyroid issue and is being offered MAiD instead.

There’s no one in the province who can perform the procedure and the government won’t pay to send her elsewhere.

This is why disability advocates warn about assisted dying

Absolutely! As a Social Worker who worked with Federal offenders, can confirm that lives change for the better 😊
63% of prisoners went into employment after being incarcerated, this is why it's so important to give them skills so they can turn there back on crime, otherwise the cycle will never ever change. ⛓👮‍♂️⚖🏛👨‍⚖📜🚔

The Department of Education wants to limit what degrees count as “professional”, impacting people’s ability to access loans.

Unsurprisingly, it’s women dominated professions being targeted.

It’s also a disability rights issue as they’re targeting paramedical programs. NPs, PTs, SLPs & social work

Did you know that in Canada, if a budget doesn’t pass the government doesn’t shut down?

Federal workers aren’t furloughed.

Funding for social services doesn’t dry up.

Failure to pass a budget triggers an election.

It puts the politicians jobs on the line.

They get the budget passed.
