this article is a good example of what i mean — literal kids work the orchards where the bulk of our oranges/lemons are grown, earning a piece-rate that can work out to less than minimum wage, and i genuinely don’t know what you or i can do about it even if it disgusts us. that’s shame

Whenever the topic "Is Digimon for children?" is discussed, the example I remember the post is when Konaka discussed the idea of "Tamers isn't for children", showing a very interesting idea of what counts as "children's material" and "adult's material" that isn't "dark content".

I rewatched an Italian interview with Kenji Watanabe about mainly Digimon from the Florence Games Festival, and funny enough, he shared how fans told him that they could get away with Angewomon in their homes when they were young by telling their moms, "Hey, it's just a Digimon".

But some of them get into that old "Digimon are species, but also singulars" question I spoke a lot about before, as there are many cases in which some of them comment about roles and past experiences that just can't be true as an individual, but that they still comment anyway.

A few times now, close 'friends' attacked and unpersoned me over some kink art I drew. Years of friendship thrown in the trash, over some drawings.

Apologies for kind of just tossing this vent on your post but GOD, I'm relating hard. I wish I could get justice. I wish we ALL could get justice. This wasn't just "shipping drama" or whatever people want to label it, it was fascist-lite violence.
