The most obvious lesson to draw from the leaked Signal chat is that these people really are morons. It's not a public act, it's not a schtick, there's not some secret back room where they drop the facade. They are genuinely stupid, incompetent people.

The thing that everyone thinks is nuts, but I absolutely think would work: a presentation that looked like an Apple keynote product launch, but for all the cool shit that the government makes for people. Cancer treatments, national parks, space discoveries, free tax filing, cool new airports.

Today I went to my bank and opened up another checking account. I didn’t want to close my current account which Musk and his merry band of thieves have the information for on the off chance my social security payment is deposited. I’ll just transfer that money out to my new account once received.
