Costco is a really popular subject for business-success case studies but I feel like business guys kinda lose interest when the upshot of the study is like "just operate with scrupulous integrity in all facets and levels of your business for four decades" and not some easy-to-fix gimmick

I feel like an underrated part of this is that they put it all in an OFFICIAL VATICAN STATEMENT. Vatican politics is so often conducted at a volume imperceptible to the normal observer, but this is like shouting in the loggia.
Imagine basing so much of your public identity on your adult conversion to Catholicism, only to be publicly dismissed by the actual Catholic hierarchy.

Thank you, Senator.
I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

If the courts lose jurisdiction because the government puts the prisoner in a black hole then there is no law.
It sure looks like they’re going all in on the “the executive branch can ignore court orders if it thinks the court lacks jurisdiction” thing
