“These are scenes I was not expecting to see in the US. You have detentions in Germany, but …they’re certainly not carried out by people who are wearing masks. There’s no comparison to that in Germany”

I can’t exactly describe how viscerally 90s the new Taylor album sounds to me. And not like in a here’s my new take on the 90s way, just, this is what the 90s sounded like kinda way.

And I wonder if whether you remember the cranberries and six pence none the richer is gonna impact how you hear it.

a more pointed question perhaps is why congress seems ok with neutering its own very clearly defined powers

anyway there is zero chance an ai-generated humanoid figure and dialogue reader will ever be remotely an "actor" because that involves emotion and audience connection, two things math problems famously suck at

the trap is just their idea that they can hurt states/cities/americans and blame dems. but it's a poorly thought out trap
mgerrydoyle.bsky.social
I mean I think the crucial thing here is inflicting deliberate harm on states/cities/americans and gloating about it removes the one complication of a shutdown for dems, which is getting blamed for it.

in all seriousness, I don't think most normal people appreciate that the majority of the military is a logistical and administrative machine

if you make the military entirely the pointy bit of the spear it simply will not work

I know these guys are all dumber than a sack of hammers, but it is fascinating to see the military decide “logistics are gay” in real time
