Last month, Robert Armstrong coined the acronym 'Taco' — which stands for 'Trump always chickens out' — as a way to describe the US president's tariff approach and the way markets react to it.

How safe is anyone citizens, alike?
Cato has published my comprehensive review of the ~240 Venezuelans the US government renditioned 2 months ago to Salvador’s notorious prison. We identified FIFTY who came legally, never violated any immigration law, but are imprisoned at the US government’s request and at US taxpayer expense.

Tfw a guy cuts you off so you send his wife to a death camp
Wait, it gets even WORSE. ICE was interested in this family because an agent wanted retribution against the father of the baby, who apparently had honked at the care of an undercover ICE agent the day before who had cut him off.

After decades of being told that the Dutch and Danes had some innate affinity for biking, here the Parisians are showing the world that alternative mobility can be rolled out anywhere/everywhere.

Shout out to Bogotanos who have also embraced the humble bicycle!
“A major survey of 12,000 reveals that 39% of Parisians are regular cyclists. The study also highlights the rapid development of infrastructure in the capital, which is behind this cycling boom!” Posted by the City of Paris (aka @paris.fr)

It's from 2013 but still valid: The removal of curb side car parking in favor of improved pedestrian & bike infrastructure leads to increased business.

But owners will fight to the death to maintain the status quo.
“Local stores next to the protected bike-lane have seen a 49% increase in sales, compared to an average of 3% for Manhattan as a whole.”
