Today was the Helpline Away Day and we had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Millar from Sussex Bat Group! We got to meet many of her patients, along with those who are in long term care - including my first Nathusius and Serotine! 🦇 Thank you for having us and for being open to all our questions ♥️

The latest discovery is the Bioko pipistrelle (𝘗𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢), on Bioko Island in Africa’s Equatorial Guinea, found by Laura Torrent.
Etula means “island” and “god of the island” in the Bantu local language.
The latest discovery is the Bioko pipistrelle (𝘗𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘦𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢), on Bioko Island in Africa’s Equatorial Guinea, found by Laura Torrent.

Today I done bat box checks with London Bat Group at Sydenham Hill Wood! 🦇🌳 We found a Leisler's bat & common and soprano pipistrelles 🥳
