Alongside the British war dead, especially my own family members, this Remembrance Sunday I shall remember all American liberators but especially these African-American liberators.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

I'm in charge of ordering stationery for work. Despite the only thing in the office requiring batteries being the reception TV remote, nobody has pulled me up on the dozens of AA and AAA batteries we buy and mysteriously go through each year.

Air traffic controllers and TSA officers have been working under duress, but staffing shortages have caused only sporadic spikes in flight disruptions.

Here’s what to expect at the airport after the Trump administration reduces flight traffic:
FAA orders 10% cut in flights at several airports as shutdown drags on
The Trump administration says the move, which will affect 40 markets, is part of an effort to ease pressure on air traffic controllers.

Excessive force. PERIOD!

They called them “violent mobs,” but the violence came from the guys with badges and body armor.

📌 Keep sharing videos, everyone, because they’re evidence.

Today, Mike Johnson will keep the House adjourned for the 94th day out of the last 106.

12 days of work in 106 days.

With full pay and benefits.

The senate has been working, so this is not about the shutdown.

It is about avoiding a vote to release the Epstein files.

Nice to see Michael Heseltine’s hair back in the Commons.
First the likes of Farage said we needed to leave the EU. Now they’re coming for the ECHR.
