My one wish for the inauguration is that there is a gift bag under the seats of Bezos, Zuck, Elon etc, with a single, embroidered , padded knee pad

Need to protect themselves when they are on bended knee, kissing the ring 🤷😆

Thanks to the Smith Report, history will forever record Trump as a criminal who tried to overturn a free and fair election. That is what our children and grandchildren will be taught if we keep our Republic.

Here is a new year resolution for everyone who uses #Zoom:

Learn how to start speaking when it's your turn without asking if everyone can hear you.

We can hear you. Just get on with it!

Wouldn’t it be funny if @mcuban.bsky.social beat Donald Trump to the punch and just bought #Greenland for himself?

I’d support that.

This should be obvious but sometimes obvious things need to be said out loud: If you're not in the LA area, don't expect much out of folks there for the next several days except that they are going to be busy either surviving or trying to help their neighbors.

I went to the Jimmy Carter public visitation in the Capitol Rotunda last night. My friend and I arrived around 9pm. It was below 20 degrees with the wind chill.

Wait time? 3.5 hours. Thousands of people were waiting outside in the freezing cold for hours late at night to honor Jimmy Carter.

Why do people have to make so much noise in a public restroom?

Slamming stuff. Humming. Whistling. Making noises while they do their dooty.

Seriously, we don’t need to hear it.

Who would have ever thought the Post and I would find common ground. Guess it just takes nonsense like #CongestionPricing

How congestion pricing will severely hurt NYC’s food supply chain — from bodegas to food banks
The introduction of congestion pricing would be a blow to restaurateurs and others in the food industry, raising the cost of the goods they purchase and making New York City an even more expensive …

Turns out she's in a memory care unit, & her staff (and apparently other people?) covered it up (though she was somehow propped up for an event a month ago?)

You’re at a garage in one of their undersized waiting rooms with few chairs.

What do you do? Sit in one chair and pull all your shit in two others, and watch as others have to stand.

I don't understand why we aren't just considering an additional gas tax instead of #CongestionPricing? New York sells 5.7 billion gallons of gasoline each year. Simply adding a dime to that would raise $570 million.

More money is needed, but that's why (financial) diversification matters.

I’m sorry, but if #congestionpricing is going to generate so much money, we can give it away to other transit systems in other states — then why do we need to take all the dollars from motorists?

Hochul thinks this hits suburbanites — but it hits everyone.

Pretty cool … saw Kal Penn last night hanging out with his husband, and friends in Manhattan. Didn’t interrupt them or anything, since I’m a stranger, but was still really cool.

Not the first time I saw him up close. Last time was in 2008 at Obama’s victory party in Tampa.

He’s amazing.

Here’s an idea … why don’t we watch #Section31 BEFORE we declare it the end of #StarTrek itself.

We don’t know why a Cheron was in the latest trailer. But here’s an idea: let’s watch first to see why before making assumptions and whining about it online.

Loved all the surprise guest stars in the latest #StarTrek #LowerDecks, as well as the romantic pairing we’ve wanted since #DeepSpaceNine.

It also was great to hear the voice of Jolene Blalock again, but curious to why she chose to be credited with just her first name.
